Double Page Background Rough Cut
First,I searched a grey background on Google image.
Then,I put my double page image and my background in Photoshop.
After that,I took a screen shoot,and use an APP called Meitu Pic to make some effects on my background.

I found one Tim McGraw and one Brand Paisley's live small photo,and I put it on the top left corner,I think it can make my cover page more professional.

Magazine Cover Page Improvement 2
I changed some elements' position and add new elements into my cover page this lesson.Now I just need to take 3 close up shoots and put it at the start of the skyline,these 3 shoots I want to choose male model because the other models on my cover page,content page and double page both are female models and I want my magazine audience can be unisex,so this will be my decision.

According to Sally's feedback,she said:"Think about changing the cover story from Taylor Swift to your own artist to make it more original and believable.Look at the layout of the text and try vary the font and size of the text."So this time,I changed the type and the size of the fonts(some of them),and I want to have a puff and skyline at the top of the page(because I got plenty of space there).Also,I changed the name of my magazine,I used my cover star's name to be my cover line.This is like a flat plan.

Final Rough Cut---Cover Page
This is my cover page final design using the Photoshop.The different between rough cut 2 and final rough cut is I used an app called Meitu Pic,it changed style of the cover image(I chose a style called Yogurt),you can see clearly it has gradient ramp at the edge of the image now,I think this improve make my product more tridimensional,I'm quite happy with that.

I finished completing my cover page today and I also did improvement with that,I will continue comparing my work with the professional magazines,and find out the weakness.

I have put the cover image on my cover page today.Because the colour of the background changed into light gold,so I changed the cover line into black,therefore it can stand out.I think I've got a good image(especially the colour of background)andI will try to complete the introduction or news of the singers tomorrow.

I have created a mock up using Photoshop of my magazine cover page,I think my cover page layout will like this,I'm quite happy with that.I will put my cover image next lesson,and consider what text I will write .
